Personal / Team Trainer
Dave has been involved in coaching and training athletes of all ages since he was 14. This has included soccer, hockey, basketball, rugby, and, for the last 15 years, football. As well as teaching the skills and tactics of the sports Dave has always included a fitness and training component in his coaching. Dave was also involved in running and judging climbing competitions up to the Junior National Championship level for several years.
While coaching football Dave has been responsible for the physical training and preparation for the athletes on the teams he has coached. This has included athletes from Pee Wee through High School and those preparing for University football. For High School athletes this has included training in proper weight training and Olympic lifting techniques as well as energy system development. In addition Dave has been responsible for the physical preparation of athletes on 3 gold medal winning Calgary select football teams at the Alberta Summer Games.
Dave is currently involved in training football, rugby, soccer, and corporate clients with Evolved Sport Science as well as training personal clients. Dave has NCCP training and certification in soccer, football, and Olympic lifting and is currently pursuing the Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

My history of fitness started in junior high and sprouted in high school with football and rugby as my main sports . After high school I played competitive recreational rugby , during that time and through high school I always wanted to know how I could improve my body and the science behind it all , so I found a way to make it happen and got my education as a personal trainer.
As I learned all the science and theory behind our human bodies I discovered how intense the connections that the mind body and soul share , after realizing this for myself I turned towards getting this information and motivation out to people who value and could use the information for whatever challenge they want to conquer.

We sit down with the client to determine / discuss their goals, then assess them to determine individual needs, ultimately building a training that takes into account their work, goals, and needs thus giving them the tools to achieve their goals. All training is done in our custom studio, with certain plans offering 'homework'.
